Class bookings
Fit N Funky - Just turn up and pay on the day
The Pelican Centre, Howe Bridge Leisure Centre and Leigh Leisure Centre - Pre book only, bookings direct via the centres
Depending on the venue classes are between £4.50-£6 per class.
Multi class discounts available for Feel The Heat classes as well as memberships
Plus memberships at all venues also available, speak to the centres to find out more.
Non members also welcome at all venues.

No need to book just turn up.

Dance Fitness

What is Dance Fitness?
Dance Fitness is a cardio workout using easy to follow along movements to the music.
Using popular music as well as music from around the World. No dance experience needed.
Formerly called Zumba.

Flow

What is Flow?
Flow is a mixture of Thai Chi, Yoga & Pilates inspired moves along with muscle strength and balance. All standing, no floor work.
Options to use dumbbells for some tracks, but not essential.

Fitness Yoga

What is Fitness Yoga?
This form of yoga is designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall fitness levels.
Using dynamic movements and sequences to challenge the body and build muscle tone.

We start each class with a warm up & stretches including some breathwork techniques followed by a sequence of moves ending with relaxation.
(Fitness yoga is most similar to Vinyasa Flow style Yoga)

Mats are provided or you can bring your own.

Step Aerobics

What is Step?
Step aerobics is a classic cardio workout using a raised platform. We use repetitive moves to build up an easy to follow routine. No complicated dance routines.

What is Step & Tone?
Step & tone combines a cardio workout using the step with
exercises to tone muscles & build strength.

Low Impact Dance Fitness

What is Low Impact Dance Fitness?
A Low Impact version of Dance Fitness. It is a cardio workout using easy to follow along movements to the music. Slower, lower impact & more repetitive than a regular Dance Fitness Class. Using popular music as well as music from around the World. No dance experience needed. Formerly called Zumba Gold.

What is Tai Chi?
Meditation in motion.
A series of gentle exercises that create harmony between the mind and body.
The ultimate purpose is to cultivate our inner life energy (qi) to flow smoothly and powerfully through the body. This is a spiritual experience, as much as a physical one.

Aqua Dance Fitness

What is Aqua Dance Fitness?
Aqua Dance Fitness blends dance movements with water resistance.
No equipment used and we “dance” in the water. Reducing the speed to help move through the water. There is less impact on your joints in the water while still helping your cardiovascular health and helping tone muscles.

Aqua Aerobics

What is Aqua Aerobics?
Aqua Aerobics combines cardio movements within the water as well as exercises using water dumbbells and pool noodles.
There is less impact on your joints in the water while still helping your cardiovascular health and helping tone muscles.

Legs, Bums & Tums

What is LBT?
A full body aerobic workout that aims to tone up your thighs, bum and stomach.
Our classes start with a gentle cardio followed by standing & floor exercises.
Using weights is optional.
